The Assist
You enter an online tournament. The software on your machine plays about half your moves, the hard ones, and you play the rest. You win the whole thing. The trophy has your name on it.
Did you win?
Then ask
- Where's the line between that and a calculator, a coach, spellcheck?
- Would you keep the trophy on the shelf?
- Does it change anything if everyone else was doing the same?
The classics and some new ones. A scenario, the question it forces, and the follow-ups that make it bite.
