Three Days of Pain
A call comes: you are a marrow match for a stranger. It means needles in your hip bone, a week where walking hurts, and a few days off work you would rather not take. The stranger is thirty-one. You will never learn their name and they will never learn yours. You can also just say no and nobody will ever ask you again.
Do you take the call?
Then ask
- What level of pain is your actual limit? Describe it.
- Would you go if they told you the person was seventy?
- You could join the register tonight in ten minutes. Why haven't you?
The classics and some new ones. A scenario, the question it forces, and the follow-ups that make it bite.
